Debbie Kuhn writes across genres, but admits that horror is her favorite. Her ghostly tales used to give her classmates nightmares back in grade school. To avoid expulsion, she stopped telling the stories out loud and began writing them down in the dead of night.

In October of 2007, Debbie accepted the position of non-fiction editor for Doorways Magazine. To date, she has written three novels and is currently working on two others. Her speculative short fiction has appeared in the Apex Digest featured horror writer anthologies entitled Gratia Placenti and Harlan County Horror (2009), Wicked Karnival Magazine (#7), Theatre of Decay, Nocturnal Ooze, GateWay SciFi Magazine, Best of Astounding Tales (Vol. 1), Anotherealm, Mysterical-E, Whispers of Wickedness, Estronomicon, Whispering Spirits, Blood Rose, DemonMinds, the Sauciest Tales Antho, and other publications. A voracious reader, she loves Anne Rice, Stephen King, Barbara Michaels/Elizabeth Peters, Tanya Huff, Sue Grafton and Janet Evanovich, among many others (including Poe, Fitzgerald, Byron...)

Traveling is Deb's other great passion in life. After obtaining a degree in Speech Pathology from the University of Cincinnati, she began wandering extensively throughout the United States, Europe and the Middle East. The fascinating people and places she has encountered on her journeys have led to many memorable experiences that continue to inspire her imagination.

Debbie now lives in Kentucky with her husband, three wicked felines and a sweet German Shephard. You can email her by clicking
